Basic beach etiquette rules for everyone visiting the beach this summer to make your experience enjoyable for everyone on the beach.
1 Do not engage in full-on groping in the sand or in the water.
No one needs to see that beach PDA. You can hold hands as you walk through the sand.
2 Keep the beach clean
Careless trash disposal is exceptionally harmful to marine life. Pick up the trash. Pack a plastic bag in your tote to dispose of food wrappers, old magazines, spent sunscreen bottles, and so on
3) Don’t smoke – the beach is not your ashtray
Summer breezes blow secondhand smoke into the faces—and lungs—of your fellow beachgoers, but cigarette butts are actually harmful to the environment.

4) Shake your towel, spray your sunscreen away from others
No one likes when sunbathing is interrupted by a pile of sand to the face
5) Keep your music down.
Decades ago, blasting portable radios was the major beach no-no. Now the problem comes from cell phones’ speakers. Keep your headphones in or your music turned down low enough so only you and your friends can hear it.
6) Fill in the Holes
If you’re digging a hole in the sand, make sure to fill it back up before you leave to prevent anyone from falling in and getting hurt.
7) Don’t pretend to drown
If you think pretending to drown will lead to getting saved and romanced by the lifeguard, think again. Even if they do come and save you, it’s not effective or safe flirting.
