I used to be very sick, and always ended up in the hospital
This was her state of health struggling with diabetes and hypertension.
Refusing to continue with taking more drugs that do not seem to have significant effects, she began to search for alternative and holistic medicine and came across Dr. Marcu’s research on the health benefits and nutrient richness of moringa olifeira or commonly known as “malunggay”.
This was the start of her path to getting rid of all her medications and natural ways to regulate blood sugar levels.

Recommended Daily Allowance of calcium and vitamin D – The more you age, the more dosage you need, especially above 50 years old.
Tip: Why it’s called the “miracle tree” – It releases more nutrients the longer you boil it. As you can see, there are more times the nutrient content per gram than the leading food sources.
Example:
1 gram of banana vs 1 gram of malunggay (fresh). In banana there are 86 mg of potassium where as malunggay has 259 mg

Ways to use malunggay

Powdered and fresh flaked malunggay
Zonita shared some recipes to make eating malunggay more tasty and at the same time makes you healthy.
Malunggay pancakes
For every 250 g of pancake mix, add 1-2 tablespoons of malunggay powder
Fresh Malunggay Omelette
1 cup of fresh leaves per 6 eggs
Banana malunggay shake
add 1 tsp dried malunggay powder or flakes to yogurt and banana.
Skin Treatment
Mix boiled malunggay tea extract with whole eggs, use on skin. Effective against pimples.
How to prepare dried malunggay
- Harvest malunggay
- wash
- tie stalks
- invert and hang dry
- collect fallen leaves within 3 days
- Once dry, blend until powder consistency
Alternative to drying malunggay: Oven bake for 1 hour 70 degrees
