Tiendesitas is a one of a kind Filipino themed shopping complex that offers the best Philippine food, furniture, handicrafts, pet supplies and fashion. In here you will find a fun preschool themed place that suggests to have your merienda, almusal, tanghalian, and hapunin (snack, breakfast, lunch, and dinner) at this all-day breakfast comfort food diner.
They serve most Filipino breakfast favorites like beef tapa, pork tocino, longanisa and American snacks like hickory burgers, chili cheese fries and bacon.
What I like about this place
They offer two choices of longanisa and add special touches to the drinks like using mason jars and adding organic ingredients like calamansi and cucumber in their lemonade and ice tea.
They made some of their selections special, like hickory hamburgers instead of the usual plain or with cheese.
They designed the whole place to fit their restaurant name MATH. The menu looks like chalkboard and the font colors are the same colors you will find in a box of chalk.
They even have custom chairs with math symbols on the backrest.
How is the food?
I tried their new selections not in the menu and was torn between tonkatsu or curry tonkatsu which are both my favorites. In the end, i chose curry tonkatsu (188 PHP) and a lemonade cucumber drink (50 PHP) to go with it.
The serving size is generous for the value. The meat is thick and the breading is crunchy. What I didn’t like was that the curry was watery, however the curry taste was still full and not too watered down.
You can find MATH Restaurant at the Ground Floor of Tiendesitas Fashion Village
