TeaTap Cafe Review
First impressions
The area is big enough to hold intimate gatherings. It is a quiet cozy place to meet and catch up with friends and family. We like the round booths tables!
Al fresco area
I like that they have an outdoor area for their guests who bring pets
The milktea menu
I like how they offer most of the popular tea flavors and combinations. Their large cup serving is bigger compared to other popular tea chains like GongCha Serenitea, ChaTime and especially Happy Lemon.
We ordered the black tea and honey lemon tea. Was considering if I’ll try the hokkaido milk tea, maybe next time.
The tea taste is more bland than GongCha. I prefer the teas from GongCha and ShareTea.
I like how the cup seals are colorful and fun with subtle tips to promote their place through selfies or try other tea choices.
Meals menu
The dishes consists of Japanese, Taiwanese, Korean, Taiwanese and Italian comfort food.
We ordered the Katsudon 210 PHP .
It almost looks the same as shown in the menu. The meat served is less. The rice they used is disappointing and of poor quality. The meat was tough and the breading was very soggy. The only good thing about it was the garnish (fresh onion and nori) The overall taste is tolerable if you are hungry.
Overall TeaTap Cafe offers a novelty experience combining the best of bubble tea drinks and popular Asian cafe snacks in a lovely and cozy place. I have yet to try the rest of the food but for now it is a good place if you need to chat in privacy, a quiet place where you can study or do some work, have meetings and hang around with your pets on their outdoor area.
For meals, you might want to go some place else.
