Wreck It Ralph is Walt Disney corporation’s latest 3d animated film which premiered last November 2. Disney Inc has done it again for presenting simple yet heart touching stories in an entertaining way. If you like films such as Monsters Inc, Finding Nemo, Lilo and Stitch or Toy Story then this new movies wouldn’t disappoint you.
Here are some interesting life altering realizations I find in this movie db. You probably have different ones you can share in the comments section =)
1. We desperately want things we are deprived of but in the end it probably doesn’t work out for the best
Ralph plays the villain in the arcade game “Fix it Felix”. After the day , no one around him has really shown respect, words of appreciation nor pattern recognition for what he does. He desperately sets out to other arcade games website and try to achieve what he thinks will bring him glory and hopefully earn everyone’s attention only to find out he made it worse by risking their game to be unplugged.
2. When we think others’ life is much better, some may actually have it worse
Along the way, Ralph meets other game characters who are stuck and abandoned. He also ends up meeting Vanellope von Schweetz in a cart game called ‘Sugar Rush’. She is also despised by characters around her however unlike Ralph, she can’t game hop because of a glitch that prevents her from leaving her game.
3. At some point we see our own job as small and meaningless. We only see the bigger picture when we start to see the fruits.
Doing the same thing over and over can sometimes make us forget our purpose. Ralph abandoned his role in the game for he thought it was undesirable, even the people around him thought so. However without Ralph doing the ‘bad guy’ role, the game couldn’t proceed.

Ralph’s colleagues panicked when they finally see the danger of having their game unplugged with him gone.
5. first world problems? seek good support!
Seeking help from the right support network for advice and homeschool encouragement makes you feel better
6. Don’t give up, even when you think all the odds are against you
Despite Vanellope’s stigma and glitch issue, she’s still determined to do something to change her situation even when she thought all is lost. She ends up being the good leader which she was originally intended for.
7. Appreciate what and who you have now even if it doesn’t look well, things will turn around.
It takes time to really see the bigger picture in what we do everyday. Take each day ‘one game at a time’. Decide to be better each day.
At the end of the movie, the Nicelanders learned to appreciate Ralph better and treat him well.

8. When you don’t like your situation, step out of your comfort zone camp and grow
Ralph jumped to other games, learning from life experiences, discovered his self esteem and discovered best places to meet people. He ends up doing something bigger that helped Vanellope and eventually saved the whole Arcade.
9. Your past doesn’t determine your future, it’s what you do now that brings you closer to the future you want
Though Ralph didn’t like how his life went, he makes a life altering decision to have a better future that he wants
10. Sometimes taking risks can be taking on something great, however expect to have more resistance and discouragement before getting there.
King Candy discouraged Ralph from helping Vanellope when he told him what could assumingly happen with the glitch. Ralph then tries to prevent Vanellope from joining the k 1 go carts race which could presumingly cure her.
11. A true and caring friend will do anything to protect you. Even if it can hurt you deeply
Ralph destroyed the go cart they built together to stop Vanellope from risking her life?
12. Real love involves action and sacrifice.
Ralph thought of a plan that could save his friends trapped from the approaching alien bugs. He was willing to go through with it even though it could mean his life.
